Конспект урока английского языка в 7 классе на тему: Спорт

Цель: Поговорить об Олимпийских Играх и влиянии спорта на жизнь человека.

Задачи:
1. Тренировать употребление лексики по теме.
2. Провести практику чтения,говорения, письма.
3. Воспитывать чувства патриотизма, ответственности за себя и свои решения и поступки, а также умение работать в команде и понимание того, что спорт помогает становлению личности.
4. Учить сравнивать, анализировать, делать выбор.
Оснащение урока: презентация, видеоролик, карточки, запись песни Олимпиады 80, листы с тестами.

План урока
1. Орг. момент. Введение в тему урока.
2. Речевая зарядка.
3. Практика чтения и говорения
4. Работа с текстом, поиск синонимов и антонимов.
5. Создание и представление диалогов.
6. Выполнение теста с выбором из множества
7. Подведение итогов урока.
8. Объяснение домашнего задания.1. Звучит песня Александры Пахмутовой «Герои спорта». На экране появляются Олимпийские кольца, факел, медвежонок, логотип. Motto (девиз): “Quicker! Higher! Stronger!”
Teacher: Good morning, I hope you have guessed already the topic of our lesson.
После ответов учащихся на экране появляется «Sport. OlympicGames»
Teacher: Today you will work in two groups. Be attentive and quick, each your right answer will give your team a point. We’ll count them at the end of the lesson and the team – winner will get fives, and members of the other team will get what they’ll deserve.
2. Teacher: What is sport? (Фронтальная работа. Учащиеся получают по баллу за каждый правильный ответ. Команды отвечают по очереди.)
Р1,P2, P3: Sport is - good health –fame –fun – good mood – money – friends – rivals – competitions – hard work….
Sport is divided into: P1, P2: winter sports and summer sports.
Teacher: What winter (summer) sports do you know?
P1, P2, P3…- Hockey, biathlon, skiing, skating, figure skating, bobsleigh….
P1, P2, P3…- Football, tennis, running, jumping, volleyball, gymnastics…
Teacher: What sport competitions do you know?
What competitions are the most popular?
3. What Olympic cities do you know?(Р1, Р2, Р3,Р4… ученики получают баллы за правильные ответы)
Now, you’ll look through the list of the countries which were hosts of OlympicGames. Your task is to answer the questions which are on the screen. You have 2-3 minutes.
1.Where and when were the first Olympic Games held? - (Greece, Athens 1896)
2. Which countries were the hosts of Olympic Games for three times? – (France, the USA, Japan, Germany)
3. Name countries where Olympic Games weren’t held? - (Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Turkey…)
4. When and in what cities of Russia were Olympic Games held? – (Moscow 1980, Sochi 2014)
Teacher: And now I’ll check how attentive you are. Look at the screen and read the list of ten hosts of winter Olympic Games. На экране вместе с названиями городов появляются флаги государств - хозяев Олимпийских Игр.

4. Teacher: Look at the photo of Pierre DE Coubertin and at the sentences given below. After reading the text you should decide whether they are true or false. Again each your right answer will give your team a point.

3. The Olympic motto can be described in the following: “The important thing is not taking part but winning” False

Teacher: And how do they fight for this title? Now you’ll see the final of the skiing race 50 km in Sochi. (Учащиеся смотрят последние метры дистанции сочинского лыжного марафона)

Teacher: What do you feel watching it? - P1, P2, P3…- delight, proud of the country, joy, great enthusiasm, excitement, wish to do the same…
What does this finish teach us? - P1,P2,P3…- not to stop working, to fight up to the last moment, to achieve aims, to be persistent, to believe in yourself…
Do you want to go in for sport after watching it?
Do you think sport can make you become sure of yourself?
Do you agree that Olympic Games are a festival of sport that makes people happy?

6. Teacher: And now one more task - you have to make dialogues pretending you are either a journalist or a famous sportsman. Use the phrases given to you in the cards.
Questions (вопросы) for composing a dialogue.

-Do you have ideals in sport?
-Were you sure you could win?
-What helped you to overcome (преодолеть) difficulties?
-Were you successful at the beginning?

-I wish you good luck in the future.
-Where were you born?
-Do your parents help you?
-Do you have a dream?
Answers (ответы) – Well, what do you want to know?
- I dream to have a rest in a hot place near a warm sea.
– I was born in a small town near Moscow.
– I was born in Yekaterinburg
– My dream is to have a lot of ice-cream and sweets.
- There were many perfect sportsmen, rivals…
–I’m glad you like skiing (figure skating)
- It helps to become strong, energetic, to look cool.
- I was often ill in my childhood and my parents brought me to the skating rink (skiing club).
-I worked hard and hoped I would achieve a good result.
-I admired Vyacheslav Vedenin and his race in Sapporo in 1972.
- I regard many sportsmen but I want to be myself.
- Of course!
-Thank you for your attention.
-It’s very beautiful artistic and musical.
-I try to get rid of stress thinking about pleasant things.
-I don’t like keeping weight as I adore (обожаю) sweets.
- My parents…. I think I couldn’t win that gold medal without their help.
После 3-4 минут подготовки каждая команда представляет свой диалог и получает баллы.

7. Teacher: Now you take sheets of paper and answer the questions on the screen. Then exchange the papers with your rivals and check according the key.
